The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina (NC LETR) State Council is organized for the purpose of managing, promoting, planning, coordinating and growing NC LETR activities throughout the state of North Carolina to accomplish the stated purpose of the NC LETR.
Any member of a law enforcement or corrections agency – active or retired, sworn or non-sworn – may be a member of the NC LETR State Council. The term of service is two years with no term limit.
Membership is voluntary and members may serve as long as they are qualified to do so. Council members are appointed by the NC LETR State Director(s).
