What is it?

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) proudly presents the Lights and Sirens Race for Hope for Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC). The NCSHP, through their involvement with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina, will host a community fundraising event to feature a 5K run and 1.5-mile fun run at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Participants will have the opportunity to run on the Charlotte Motor Speedway track in support of SONC athletes. By becoming a sponsor, you will team up with the NCSHP in support of this life-changing mission!

Parking information: Inside the track through Gate 13 tunnel, follow Special Olympics North Carolina directional signs.

The first 250 people to register will receive a voucher to attend Speedway Christmas Lights Winterfest Christmas Village lights display. Fun Run participants are not included in this promotion. All registrants also receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal!
