Special Olympics Southeast U.S. Winter Games

The Southeast U.S. Winter Games – Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding and the Southeast U.S. Winter Games – Ice Skating will serve as the primary state-level competitions for Special Olympics North Carolina athletes. Additionally, Special Olympics athletes from several states across the southeast U.S. will attend these Games.

At the Southeast U.S. Winter Games – Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding, athletes will receive instruction from professional ski and snowboard instructors from French Swiss Ski College, then compete against their peers in skiing and snowboard courses. There will be other opportunities for Special Olympics North Carolina athletes to participate in Alpine skiing and snowboarding training at various winter training camps held throughout January.
