Every Tuesday, we introduce our Power Up for the week.

Healthy Hand Hygiene

This week is focused on hand hygiene. Regularly washing your hands with soap and water can protect you from illnesses caused by viruses and bacteria.

WEEK 1

Happy Hydration

This week is focused on hydration. To stay hydrated, you should try to drink about 5 bottles of water (16-ounce bottles) each day.

Make Half Your Plate Fruits and Veggies

This week is focused on fruits and veggies. The goal is to make half your plate fruits and veggies at each meal.

Scheduled ZZZs

This week is focused on good sleep habits. One of the best ways to feel well rested that is by disconnecting and getting 8 hours of sleep.

WEEK 5

Healthy to the Bone

This week is focused on bone health. Our bones need calcium to remain strong. The most obvious way to get that calcium is by drinking milk.

WEEK 6

Fit Brushing

This week is focused on fit brushing. Let’s try doing upper body twists while you brush your teeth. This will work your abs and loosen up your muscles, while also keeping your teeth squeaky clean!

WEEK 7

You Time

This week is focused on setting aside time for yourself. Spend at least 15 minutes when you wake up, right after lunch or before you go to bed to do an activity you enjoy, such as reading a book, deep breathing, light stretching or listening to music.

WEEK 8

20 in the Sun

This week is focused on getting out in the fresh air. Days are getting longer and it’s starting to warm up! This means it’s time for more fun, outdoor activities.
