Welcome to Special Olympics Cumberland County!
More than 250 athletes train year-round in 14 different sports and compete in local, regional, and state-level events. Special Olympics Cumberland County partners with Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation for use of facilities and equipment. Our offices are in the Dorothy Gilmore Therapeutic Recreation Center on Purdue Drive in Fayetteville, a Parks and Recreation facility. Fall Sports Training
Partner Up, Power Up – fall 2020
This ten-week training program is a Unified program so individuals with and without intellectual disabilities can train together. It can be fully done from home with materials provided and online resources available for those who can access them. Deadline to register is August 18. See more!
