for Inclusion
Open to anyone and everyone who’s up for a challenging 30-minute workout for a great cause!
Nearly 40,000 Special Olympics North Carolina athletes across the state invite you to support the mission of inclusion
Individual participation
- If you belong to a gym, check to see if they have a team or if they are hosting an in-person WOD at a later date.
- Make a one-time donation.
- Receive a WOD for Inclusion T-shirt.
- Go the extra mile and share the online fundraising page that will be automatically created for you.
A golden kettle ball trophy goes to the individual who raises the most money! - Do one of the options below:

Option 1 – July 18 Zoom session
Hosted at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. by Gold Medal Partner –
Hog Town Fitness on Saturday, July 18.
Option 2 – On your own
If you’re unable to join the Zoom session,
register to receive the recorded WOD video
to do on your own time!
Gym participation
If you own a gym, make sure your facility gets the chance to compete against other gyms to raise the most money.
A championship banner could be in your future!

Option 1 –
Register your gym to make a virtual team.
Option 2 –
Choose a later date to do a WOD for Inclusion event at your gym.

Q: What is WOD?
A: Term that stands for “Workout of the Day”
Q: How long will this workout take?
A: The workout has a running clock at 3-2-1-Go. You should allow 30 minutes. Each team will receive 10 minutes for instruction, 20 minutes for workout. Teams who want to shoot for the Rx Version the time is 12 minutes.
Q: What if I can’t do some of the movements?
A: You are welcome to modify all movements as needed!
Q: How do we know where we can participate?
A: Participating locations will be added to the event website periodically. Click the big, red button!
Q: What if I don’t work out on a regular basis. Can I still participate?
A: YES! This workout was designed to scale to any individuals fitness level.
Q: Can I pay the day of the event?
A: NO, all event registration and payments are applied online through the registration website (click the big, red button!).
Q: What do I need to have the day of the event?
A: A SMILE and POSITIVE ATTITUDE! This is for FUN!
Q: Will I be able to see which location has raised the most money?
A: Yes! All contribution levels will be available via the registration website (that big, red button!).
