What’s a Truck Convoy?

The Truck Convoy is an annual event which unites law enforcement and truckers to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes  and change attitudes toward people with intellectual disabilities. Two thousand big rig trucks will traverse throughout the United States and Canada throughout the year. More than 100 trucks travel 28 miles up and down I-485 before returning to the PNC Music Pavilion for a celebratory lunch.

HOW?

Participants are encouraged to raise as much as possible, but a minimum donation of $100 is required to participate in the Truck Convoy.

All trucks entering the convoy must be of 10-GVW or larger and can include, but are not limited to, semi-trucks, truck/trailer combinations, large trucks, low-boys, dump trucks, flat beds, buses, large tow trucks, large box trucks, etc.
