2023 Special Olympics NC Games Management Team Training

Join Special Olympics NC staff to learn the ins and outs of event planning. Each week will have a session that focuses on a different aspect of event planning that will benefit you whether you are planning competition events or fundraisers.

Everyone who completes this 5-week training will be eligible to receive Special Olympics NC branded apparel and will be Games Management certified. These interactive sessions will be suitable for everyone from Special Olympics NC athletes, to youth leaders across the state, to adult volunteers who want to advance their event planning skills.

You can select one or more of the following trainings when you sign up:
January 30 – Event Management Overview
February 6 – Volunteers
February 13 – Logistics
February 20 – Competition Planning
February 27 – Awards
March 6 – Communication and Crisis Management
