2023 Polar Plunge for Pamlico County

The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Pamlico County is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support Special Olympics Pamlico County athletes by taking a dip into frigid waters! Plungers must raise a fundraising minimum to jump to frozen glory and can raise additional funds, earning them extra incentives along the way. Are you brave enough to take the plunge?  2022 saw several sports added to the Special Olympics Pamlico County program.  Fundraisers like this one help to support those programs and others that help our athletes live healthier lives and feel a sense of inclusion in our community.  Participate as a team or on your own and collect pledges from friends, family, and colleagues to lock in your spot to jump in the Neuse River – in January!
