Welcome to Special Olympics Cumberland County!

More than 250 athletes train year-round in 14 different sports and compete in local, regional, and state-level events. Special Olympics Cumberland County partners with Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation for use of facilities and equipment. Our offices are in the Dorothy Gilmore Therapeutic Recreation Center on Purdue Drive in Fayetteville, a Parks and Recreation facility. We are currently looking for volunteer coaches, committee members, sponsors and more! Please contact us to learn how you can get involved!

Special Olympics Cumberland County Spring Games
The Spring Games will be held on Friday, April 222016 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Methodist University.  All registration information must be completed and submitted by April 1st.  All registration forms and information are available in the Resources section in the right-hand column.

Spring Sports Registration
Registration period runs from January 1st – March 1st.  Registration is currently open for the following sports; Athletics (Track), Cheerleading, Cycling, Powerlifting, Volleyball, and Softball.  Please visit the Gilmore Therapeutic Recreation Center prior to March 1st to get signed up!
