Five-person teams competed to determine who can pull a 30,000-pound regional jet the fastest at the 2014 Special Olympics NC Plane Pull! Congratulations to the 2014 Plane Pull Champions – the NC State Highway Patrol Smokey Bears!  This unique event was presented by Credit Suisse, Delta, ResCareHMS Host, RDU International Airport, UPS, and Food Lion to benefit the NC Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics North Carolina.  Photos coming soon!

T-shirt Design Contest Winner- Credit Suisse Super Human Resources (Carrie Randall)

The Plane Pull helps to provide 38,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to receive sports training and competition in 19 Olympic-type sports.   The Plane Pull is also a unique team building activity for groups.  It requires participants to come together as a team to achieve a very daunting task — pull an 30,000 lb. airplane 25 feet!
