Special Olympics athletes are never charged a fee to participate. This is possible thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors and volunteers.

In order to ensure Special Olympics North Carolina can continue to provide the highest quality year-round sports training and athletic competitions to the more than 38,000 athletes in the state, the Program hosts several annual fundraising events.
